Hi all,
I'm in the process of cloning my dad's pc to his new panasonic tv. I've used a vga cable and the picture has come up quite simply on the tv. The problem I'm having is that the colours are all schewed, there doesn't seem to be any red on the screen at all, and no amount of fussing or googling has helped me out.
so here I am - please help!
thanks,
jiblets.

Not without buying one - I was wondering if it could be that. Is it likely?Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o

Not likely, but a distinct possibility. I don't suppose you have another computer/laptop handy to test with either?
Check inside the plugs for bent pins. Also ensure the cable is plugged in snuggly at both ends.
Another possibility is a refresh rate mis-match.How do I add a signature?0 -
I'll check the wires etc, thankyou.
How would I check the refresh rates?Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o

Check the manual for the TV (yes, I know it's not a man thing!) and compare to the settings on the graphics card, although I don't think this will be an issue as usually if a screen doesn't support the graphics refresh rate it either displays a message that the refresh rate is out of range, or the screen is completely blank. How do I add a signature?0
