Boat trips Bridlington - puffins etc

Several years ago we had a lovely time when we took a bird watching boat trip around the cliffs to see the birds [puffins, gannets] feeding their young etc.
We now want to take our grandson to see this, but we can't remember the exact time of year we went. We think it was mid to late June.
Can anyone help with the time window on this to see it at it's best

The best time is between now and the end of June, all the birds are fetching and carrying nesting material and food until then when the chicks fledge.
If you look on the RSPB site they have info on cruises and what you will see when.

Ooooh, was surprised to see this thread as we are booked to do the cruise this Sunday at 4.30pm! Just hope the weather and sea conditions hold up as otherwise they cancel. (We have booked a 2 night stay in Scarborough just to do the cruise too!!!) Have only seen the birds from the Bempton Cliffs landside before so really looking forward to it now. :j

Oh rattypoos....it was cancelled!!! :mad:

Went to the RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs instead.....saw 1 x puffin and 1 baby seal as well as the usuall gannets etc.

Love Bempton cliffs
Normally go and stop in Brid twice a year and always spend all day either on Flamboro head or Bempton cliffs
Got some great photo`s of puffins last year
