Would 2 credit cards boost credit more than one?

Hello, I'm new!
Basically I have recently moved banks so don't have the best credit for that main reason. So I have a Capital One credit card, I just spend £30 a month on it and repay it in full, I'm in no financial difficulties so I don't 'need' one. Anyway, I had a letter from a company- cant think of the name- I think it was Vanquis, offering me a card.
So would it be best for my credit to take it, spend £30 on it, so I;m spending on both, pay off in full each month and it would boost my credit faster. Or would it look bad that I have 2 credit cards?
Thanks

I think Vanquis just use a mailing list. I get an offer from them on a monthly basis.

I think in principle that an extra credit card will get you more credit if your credit limit is stuck ar its present level if you can get the extra card. It will also boost favourable entries in your credit files. The only reason that an extra card will be bad is if you fail to make the payments. But it could stop you getting more credit elsewhere if it is thought your available credit is maxed.

Capital One used to spread a credit limit over two cards, Mastercard and VISA, with say £500 on each. Don't know if they still do that.
