I must be the exception. Tried Branston and went straight back to Heinz.Penny-Pincher!! wrote: »Aldi beans are nice.

I tried the Branston when they were on offer once, but I didn't like them. I don't like Heinz anymore either! It used to be the case that OH wouldn't eat anything but Heinz, but then I introduced him to Aldi Corale beans and now he won't eat any other makeYou watch, they'll "new & improve" the recipe - and promptly ruin them

I find it really annoying that Asda never tell you how long the offer is on for. I did get the beans at 4 for pound but when I got back and told my neighbour, she went next day and they had gone up.
Its not much use asking CC either they always say they dont know.Slimming World at target0 -
I've recently moved to 'Branston Beans' mainly due to them being on offer in Lidl or Asda at 4 tins for £1. I find they taste fine but however first of all I was very reluctant to try them as I don't like to compromise on taste. Definitely worth try them out I say.0

ASDA are incredible. The 4 packs of Branston baked beans are now £1.50 on the website. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Branston £1.27 at Tescos until 29th May.0

I'm not particularly fussy about beans but, since trying them, I do actively AVOID the Adsa own-brand (reduced sugar and salt) beans. They taste far too sweet and sickly, presumably due to using cheap sweeteners instead of sugar, and I had to smother them in black pepper just to get through a 1/3 tin on my jacket potatoMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Heinz baked bean fan here. Tried the branston ones, not for me, although I do load up on 4 for £1 offers as my mum loves them.
Lidl have 4 for £1 on the 26th & 27th of May (weekend offer) if anyone is interested.

Another vote here for Branston's Beans!
However, I noticed in my local Tesco Express Heinz Baked Beans fridge pack is on offer at 96p at the moment, if anyone is interested0 -
Only me that prefers HP then! Only 3 tins for 99p at the 99p shop but that's the only place I can find them except for Poundland.0
