Need your help !

Hi there,
I'm not sure but I was wondering, if bicarb of soda can deodorise carpets, would it work on cushions too? I would try sprinkling some onto the foam/cover and leaving it for 1/2 hour then hoovering it off. Perhaps on the inside of the cover in case it marks the outside (although I can't think why it would mark it...just to be on the safe side)

Thanks everyone for your ideas, going over my sisters later and shes got some bicarb so il pinch a bit of hers if that fails il try either steam cleaning or vax'ing it ...

As for not smoking, ive had half a one since giving up, so am very proud of myself, and am loving not wasting money on it! Thats part of the reason ive been spring cleaning, nets, curtains, cushions etc.. !

Thanks again for your ideas, think i might try the bicarb on my carpets too, do you just sprinkle on and leave a while before hoovering?

How about putting a couple of Bounce tumble dryer sheets between the foam and the cover, they smell quite strong.
