Hi everyone,
Have noticed our settee cushions have got a bit pongy recently
Its a brown faux suede settee, weve had it for 3 years and have done well regarding stains etc, i just wipe it over with a cloth and wash up liquid (it says not to do that but it hasnt done any harm) Anyway, i have put the seat covers in on a cold woolen wash to freshen them, did this on the advice of my friend so hopefully they will be ok, the problem im left with now is the actual seat cushions are still smelling and i dont know what to use to freshen them up... any ideas ???? The weather isnt great at the mo so cant really air them, so im hoping you guys will be able to suggest something

Test on small area first but I used to have a similar material one as you've described and I used to spray Febreeze on the INSIDE of the covers (while inside out on the line usually) and on the cushions themselves. One day I might be more organised...........

If you have a steam cleaner, or can borrow one, that should do the trick.0

Yeah I was about to suggest dry cleaning (is it possible with cushions?)Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

Sorry, no idea, give your local one a call and ask them is the best I can come up with.
Or you might want to invest in a steam cleaner, with your newly saved cash from not smoking?
You can get a decent enough one quite cheaply these days, and they are brilliant for cleaning practically anything....although I don't use mine as much as I should, as stored in garage, not enough room inside.0
