Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -

Keep reading. Basically when you back and lay the same outcome at the same odds your bets cancel each other out - it is like you are being the bookie and the punter at the same time.Backing is saying an outcome will happen - laying is saying it won't. So imagine you back Liverpool to win say at odds of 2.0 and they do - you the punter double your money - but you the bookie have to pay out so it cancels out. And if they lose - you the punter lose your money but you the bookie gain it - again it cancels out. Not much point in doing it with your own money - especially since in reality you rarely get identical odds and have to pay some commission. BUT bookies offer free bets as incentives to sign up. Now if you do this process using the free bet to back and your own money to lay things are a bit different. If your bet wins you lose your own money as the bookie but you have won with the free money so you are still in pocket. If your bet loses you have won as the bookie - so you get the equivalent of the free bet (more or less).
So at each bookie you bet twice - once with your own money to qualify for the free bet (this loses a little) and then with the free bet which is where you make the money.
Probably still as clear as mud! I am happy to help someone through their first couple of bets if you feel you just need a bit of reassurance. Don't have time to do it for anyone but would be happy to buddy someone and check numbers etc. PM me.0
