Howdens replacement doors

Options
i have a howdens 'stornoway' kitchen fitted around 6 years ago (actually think it may have been MFI bought but is definitely the same as howdens) but we fancy a plain white gloss finish now. (similar to their 'glendevon or saponetta ranges).
all our carcasses are in perfect condition.
would somebody be able to tell me if i can purchase the doors and drawer fronts separately from howdens, and if they they would be an easy and direct diy fit for me onto my existing howden / mfi cacasses. (do the hinge holes line up etc).
also an indication of cost would be helpful. i would get an account holder to purchase for me. i will need:

5x 400x715 doors
6x 500x715 doors
1x 300x715 door
2x 500x560 base unit doors
1x 600x715 integrated dishwasher door
4x 600x160 drawer fronts
1x 600x400 drawer front
1x 600x1220 integrated fridge freezer top door
1x 600x720 integrated bfridge freezer bottom door

many thanks.

the hinge holes will be diff from each carcass company.
you could buy the doors undrilled, get a hinge hole cutter from toolstation....there £10 and its not that hard to drill once you got the correct measurement but you can use an old door as a template for this.
some of your door sizes seem a little odd - the 160 drawer fronts

Sorry but you are wrong. 1) it's almost impossible to get doors without jingle holes already cutespeciallyfrom Howdens.
    2) Most Diyers don't have a hinge hole cutter 3) It's a lot easier to realign the carcass part of the hinge.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
  • I dont use Howdens but I think they charge quite a lot of money for doors only. Howdens only do standard sizes so try looking elsewhere for a cheaper option. PWS doors will fit for example

I dont deal with howdens and didnt say i was right or wrong i offered a poss way for doing it - also i said they can get a hinge hole cutter, didnt say they had 1!!!

Every door i buy comes without hinge holes....
And i have also drilled a few hinge holes, its no harder than hanging a shelf

thanks for replies. phill i hadn't thought of that! much easier to realign the carcass attached part of the hinge.
kitchen designr - thanks, good to know all is as it was.
evokit - the sizes do seem odd, but that is the exact measurements. perhaps they are rounded up or down in the brochures?

does anyone have an idea on approx costings for these parts?
    thanks again.

Best thing to do is get Howdens Account Holder to get a price. As this will be the easiest way to know. They all get different discounts but do not always pass them on (nor would I if I was not fitting them)

    you are in luck.
go on a famous worlwide internet auction site https://www.ebay.co.uk
type saponetta and you will find it is widely held by bankrupcy agents when MFI went bust. Should be able to undercut Howdens significantly.
