Tuesday 15th May - What small DFW things will you do today??

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!
Good morning all,
I hope everyone is back on the appropriate band wagon. I had a bit of an epiphany last night, about my future and now more keen than ever to get myself back on track (shame I had to fall so far off track to see it)
Today I will:
* Check bank (not looking great but should be ok on the whole til payday)
* All meals from stores
* No long relaxing baths. Quick showers then on with the housework!!
* Clothes on the line to dry if sun is out when back from work
* long term mse: start application form for September
Have a good one all

Morning All
Thanks to Sunshine for starting the tread
Hi to newbies and hugs to those who need them !
Second of 2 days study leave……exam tomorrow – sure I know everything I need to know, but panicking in case there’s something I have forgot to revise.
Today I have/will:
• Meals from stores
• Log food on ww website – trying not to eat everything in sight
• Checked bank – lottery winnings paid into a/c so moved £3 profit to AAT fund
• Updated signature to show payment to fund
• Keep an eye out for jobs I can apply for – yesterday I emailed my cv off to one agency and applied for another job
• Write letter to see about an NI refund
• Checked quidco
• Checked survey sites
• NSD, unless I can drag myself to the gym in which case I’ll pay £1 for car park
• Watched films and bits on the sky box
• Washing on 30 degrees & dry indoors
• Jumper on rather than heating on
• Saved myself about £15 by not going to work
Think that’s about it for me
Take care everyone
