Best use of 'Bluetooth' on your android phone?

Dear all,
I have an android phone/ tablet, which has 'Bluetooth', I am a little confused about its use, how do I use it?

Its an old-school short ranged, low speed, wireless data connection.
About the only use for it these days is for connecting a wireless hands free headset/, you could connect it to a computer but modern phones have better/easier options for synchronising data to/from PCs

Yes, when driving you have 'hands free' access, if you have the right equipment in the car. But it cannot be used for any thing else or can it? i have seen laptops with blue tooth' as well, and i just wonder.

you can transfer files between bluetooth devices, I often use it for music files between phones ( for 1 or 2 ringtones, rather than bulk transfers), same to other people's phones....quick'n'easy for such stuff
