Help....can anyone advise please

Ok to cut a long story short my dd has behavioural issues and special needs and on her way to diagnosis, we suspect pda (its on the autistic spectrum) and possible attachment disorder from an earlier life abuse by her father.
I get dla mrc and lrm for dd, my next payment is due in 3 weeks. Last payment went on buying a new bed for her as she broke hers (on purpose). Today she has broken my chest freezer right after I have done a monthly shop (we're a family of 6 and its easier for me to do my food shop monthly in bilk) and the food has all almost defrosted. I have no money to buy a new one or replace the food and I have no idea what i'm going to do. We have no family to borrow off who are in a position to be able to lend us any and my credit is poor so cannot open a catalogue account.
I'm running out of ideas, are there any charities that help for emergencies like this? I had a grant off family fund last year but cant re-apply until august and even if they let me apply early it would take too long.
Can anyone advise on a charity or something that may be able to help where I can repay in a month or so?

This charity used to be called the Family Welfare Association. They might be able to help.
You could also try your home insurance for the ruined food.
I'm sure that there are other charities lurking either in my bookmarks or on post it notes buried on my desk, so if I find any more, I'll post again.

Some links for you to try:

Several possibilities on here - but plenty of reading to do!

If you are in the North East:

This link says disabled adults, but some are a bit more general and might be able to help:

Is there a local branch of the carers charity 'Carers UK'? They should have lots of information on where to go for help that canbe got to you quickly.
Hang on in there. All the best.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0 -
A neighbour or 2 may help with freezer space, until you get a new one, or if it happens again.
Freecycle may provide you with a working freezer.
No help now, I know, but for the future...
Do you have a garage? Or a conservatory?
Consider keeping the new freezer out of the way, if you can.
Or locked shut, if that would help.I wish I could fly, right up to the sky! But I can't...Famous Last Words: Bus?... What B....
