I'm struggling to find a bus timetable for busses from Wolverhampton railway station to Himley, it's possible I'm just rubbish at reading bus timetables. Does anyone have local knowledge who can tell me, I need to get a bus around mid day and return about 5pm. Alternativly any idea how much a taxi would cost?

try this web site it's a 256 bus which goes from the bus station next to the train station.

Plenty of taxis outside the station. or call wombourne taxis for a quote.0 -
Used to by my regular route when I worked on the buses in Wolverhampton. From memory during the day, they ran every 30 minutes; 5 past and 35 past the hour from Wolverhampton and 21 and 51 past the hour from Wall Heath (the previous timing point to Himley on the return journey)

Looks like a 30 to 35 min journey if on time.
Taxi you dont want to know, sure they charge in excess of £1 per mile and 7 mile plus each way.
Mrs in same boat 3 mile by car/taxi at over £5 each way, by foot over 5 mile and no bus journey.0
