Looking for 1 week first week in October, 2 adults. Somewhere warm/hot, beachy. Decent resort with good food/all inclusive package. Also want option to be able to do things off site as well, things to walk to/visit/excursions.
Fairly flexible where we go, budget around £400 each give or take.
Flights from London/Bristol/Brum rather than too oop North.
Any advice gratefuly received- we're not used to a weeks holiday, nor going abroad for a beach holiday so it's all a abit new! Travelzoo seem to offer some good deals for some of the Greek Islands - that sort of thing sounds fine, but advice either way would be much appreciated!

Egypt..... ?The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Second Egypt. However, you might struggle a little with your budget at the moment. I would leave it until it gets a little nearer the time, maybe middle of Aug and then see what there is.
Greek Islands could be a bit hit and miss with the weather in October. I've been in Kos and Rhodes at this time and Kos was quite cool and rainy and Rhodes was still very warm with an occasional shower. You could find that either place is sunny for the whole week though with no rain.
Turkey is much the same with the weather.
Leave it till Aug and see what comes up when they start putting things into the lates offers.:beer:0 -
Thanks- I have considered Egypt, haven't seriously looked at costs. £500 each is do-able if it's a good package, really can't go above that though. We are very much restricted to that week though. Obviously I just want to find the best deal with the best weather really!
Apart from Travelzoo are there any other good websites to look out for listing good deals rather than trawling through loads of sites?0 -
Thomas Cook have some excellent deals.
Another vote for Greece
