vanquis customer applied for granite card

Hi guys :)

Im a vanquis credit card holder - its been 5 months

Ive recently in the last week applied for a granite card only to realise that they are the same company!

Does anyone know what happens next... is there still a possibility that i will get accepted for the card or will it be an automatic refusal

    I had an automatic refusal letter based on the fact I already had Vanquis because I hadn't realised they were the same either!

    I also phoned the customer service line today and was told that my application was rejected because i couldn't hold the two cards at the same time
