anyone else had same problem or known anyone?

just thought i would post just to ask some people if they had same experiences as mine during pregnancy, well when i was 16 i fell pregnant decided to keep it anyway to cut a long story short i found out the baby had GASTROSCHISIS which is where the intestines/bowels are on the outside of the babys body when born as they protude through where the bellybutton is. anyway i had him he is 3 next month  soon as i delivered he was whisked off all i was left to see was a piece of paper signing his life over to them which was hard but he came through fit and well :T :j he now just doesnt have a inny bellybutton just a little scar around his bellybutton, he was only in intensive care for 3 weeks long enough i know but he came through it fit and well and u wouldnt look at him and think there was anything wrong. only problems he has now is with his bowels but the surgeons say that isnt to do with what he had done  anyway i was just wondering as i never see anything like this on here if anyone has had any similar experiences??? BTW i have had another son on 13th november 06 who is perfectly fine nothing wrong :T
sorry for the long post
thanks in advance

Thanks for that!! he must of had quite a big hole in the bellybutton that they had to put a false one on ds was about 4cm not very big and they managed to pop it all back in on one go which is very unusual!!!
    anyone else share their experiences??
