easyjet fast boarding

I usually book my holidays myself but this time I am going with an agent. The holiday includes Easyjet flights and I would like to pay for the fast boarding as my OH is a nervous flyer (even though we go abroad several times a year) and if he faces a long queue he may well go into meltdown and I like him straight on the plane without giving him time to stand and think.

My travel agent does not answer the phone and I can't see anyway of booking the fast boarding in advance online as I didn't book the flight myself and have no tickets, just a code.

Has anyone used Easyjet recently from gatwick and were you able to pay at check in for fast boarding?

You should be able to buy it at the Easyjet desk in the check-in hall

I've done it a few times when faced with massive queues albeit not at Gatwick

Yes it did worry me a bit yesterday.

I was slightly more upset though when I tried my booking reference on the Easyjet site to find out that it gave me the names of other passengers booked by the agent, and asked me to complete the advanced passenger information details as they had not yet been supplied. Doesn't that break data protection, and what would have happened if I had out made up details in their spaces and clicked confirmed?

I did get hold of company in the end by phoning the new bookings number (they always answer that phone) but they cannot do the fast boarding bit for me and didn't seem concerned at all about me having other peoples names.

I'll ask about fast boarding when I check in as suggested

If you have their booking details, then who has yours? thats what I would be most concerned about.
I would think if you put incorrect information into the API, and it was noticed, you wouldnt be allowed to board.
Same as if anyone put the wrong details into your API.

I booked with Newmarket travel and was surprised that they didn't seem bothered by the fact that one booking referecne gave the names of all the passengers booked with them.

If you go to manage my booking on the Easyjet site and put in the code you have can you get in there to buy priority boarding and check you API

It is a waste of money that Speedy / Priority Boarding I found in the past. Normally you be ushered through then have to wait to get onto the plane or across the tarmac and by that stage all the "sprinters" have zoomed past you and got on before you anyway. I really really hate that, I would rather Easyjet let you pay extra and book your seat! Anyway rant over lol

That's how I got everyones details, it doesn't just show mine.
