Need some advice on furniture placement

I have one bedroom left to furnish. It has been decorated. My original plan was to have the bed up against the party wall with the neighbour's house. However, i'm having second thoughts as there is a lot of noise that comes through our party walls. You can even hear people talking!

So, I was wondering whether having fitted wardrobes built onto the party wall would help to reduce the noise that is leaking through the wall?

Is it a spare bedroom, if it is cant see a problem with noise coming through, it will come through where ever the bed it to be honest.

Fitted wardrobes would certainly deaden the noise, it depends purely on what you want to do to be honest.

Yes, it's a spare bedroom for guests, which will be mainly used as a dressing room.

Every room in our house has cupboards/wardrobes on the party wall side. You could also put some sound-proof wallpaper between the fitted cupboards and the party wall if they make a lot of noise.

If you dont want to fork out for fitted wardrobes, I wouldnt worry about it then. Guests wont be staying that long that they will suffer from sleep deprivation lol

Just put the bed where ever it will go and look best.
