Global. Either Cash Passport Globe or Kalixa.
Please peruse the currently running threads in the Foreign currency section. and be aware the Thai ATMs charge a separate 150(£3) fee, unless you can find an AEON ATM.
The alternative may be an 'over the counter' transaction, but the Prepaid card may penalise you for this kind of usage.0 -
I always use the Caxton FX. If I have any issues they are very quick on the phone etc. Have also used Cashplus card which is ok...but FX is better. TBH....I mainly use the currency kiosks in Thailand, they are everywhere, and exchange £20s or USD...usually a decent rate. I have read Take This previous entries....lol...All way over my head with percentages...but I think if you take lots of small sums out it will add up...also depends on currency rate I think. Anyway enjoy amazing Thailand.0

Nothing wrong with that.
In easy to understand terms. Caxton Global takes 2.75% commission of the VISA exchange rate, whereas Travelex Cash Passport Globe take 1.49% of the Mastercard exchange rate.
VISA/Mastercard rates are not too far off of each other.
So you get more for your money using the Globe card.0
