Saturday day travelcard

Hi

Was wondering if anyone had bought this type of ticket through travel line & what their experience of it.

I've convinced myself that I'm reading it wrong - £36.70 for an adult return to london from wigan on a saturday.

Is it too good to be true or am I missing lots of T&C's??

Thanks

  • Depends which Wigan station it is from and which TOC you will be using. What does the T&Cs or the ticket type state?

    The price is correct.

It must be bought before 23:59 the day before travel. The outward journey has a compulsory reservation and you must travel on that train. The return journey can be made anytime on the same day on Virgin Trains only.
