Travel or health insurance for holiday in Egypt?

I am going to Egypt for a month soon. I have booked a flight with BMI (British Midland Airways) and I do not think that bookings include travel insurance. Since I am going away for so long I also need health insurance. Do I need both? If I only buy travel insurance, does it cover health issues as well? Not sure what I need.

You need travel insurance (which will include both), and you need it now! (What happens if you get run over by a bus this afternoon and won't be able to go?)

Thank you. I am sorry I did not do it earlier but the BMI website did not give me the option to add travel insurance when I booked my flight. Anyway, it is not too bad I suppose. Hubby and I are also going to Germany in September, and possibly in Poland before Xmas. Maybe it is better to buy annual travel insurance for both; but I am traveling to Egypt on my own, without the husband. Would an annual travel insurance for the couple be valid if I travel on my own?

Usually. But check this before you buy to be sure.
