Conservatory advise needed

Sorry of this is the wrong place to post but................
The wife has finally nagged me into submission and it looks like we are going to have a conservatory built but now we need to decide between a polycarbonate roof or one of these new Solaroof/Activ Blue type glass roofs.
I prefer the look of glass but was a little worried about the glare (don't want blinds as they just end up being storage space for dust and dead flies). Also how does the polycarbonate roof compare in terms of heat transfer? It seems that the new style glass goes a long way to solving the "too hot in summer too cold in winter" prolems. Anyone got any recommendations?

We have a normal glass roof on ours and I've never regretted it. I love the fact we can sit and look up at the sky day or night, I love the fabulous light it has, even on a dull day it's a cheery room to be in. The other factor is the noise, my parents were renting a house with a polycarbonate roof and that made the decision for me, the noise on polycarbonate in the rain is deafening!0
