hi i have £5000 that i want to put away for 3 years what would be better isa or saver i do not needto access the money and would like to find out the highest interest would it be better to split the money or keep it together any ideas please thankyou xxx:)

Keep the money together
Have a look at halifax 3 year fixed rate ISA which pays a decent 4.25%

A cash ISA is a saver - - - Individual Savings Account - - - just with the advantage, to most people, that the interest is tax free.
Even if someone is currently not a tax payer, it could make sense to opt for an ISA because- they might become tax payers at some time in the future
- there are currently no normal savings accounts that pay as much interest as the best ISAs
