Home Insurance Query
LastLine
I've got a relatively simple query here I'm sure, but I just can't get my head around it.
I've obviously insured my home for years, in fear of theft, fire, accidental damage etc, but up to now never had the need to claim.
Last night my games console suffered a rather well known failure involving red lights. What I'm debating now is whether my home insurance is likely to include general failure, obvious perhaps? but I've never had to use it before so I've genuinely no idea!
The wording of the policy (Endsleigh) is all based around 'loss or damage' of equipment - does this fall under either one?
Secondly, I'm quite happy with my policy premium at the minute, and I'm obvioulsy concerned this could cause a significant rise - anyone got any ideas what I might expect?

How old is it? Our PS3 broke down after 5 years but Currys still replaced it for us as it had a common failure.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0

No, it's won't cover red lights. You would have to seek recompense from the manufacurer if it is still within warranty (3 years)0

Really? I generally find the Currys staff around here to be rather unhelpful in such manners. It's the widely held Red Ring o' death for the 360, but I can't for a second imagine them replacing it lolthegirlintheattic wrote: »How old is it? This is much what I expected. Just seeking the confirmation on such things
