Thanks,
Serenity

You want to pay your fees by Direct Debit?

Not sure about that. I registered a Credit Card for fees. However, I now use PayPal to pay all the eBay fees as soon as the auctions are finished. That way I know exactly how much I've gained and can then withdraw that without anything going on my Credit Card.

I didn't want to. I selected to pay by debit card but then it said if I wanted to sell buy it now items I would have to use direct debit. But it hasn't worked :( I think I'll just delete the direct debit and wait until I have a +10 feedback.

You need to get buying and raise your feedback fast. There must be plenty of things you need that you can buy to raise your feedback score. Should manage it within a week if you put your mind to it.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't start selling until I had at least 20 feedback. It has to be a real bargain for me to bid on anything where the user has less than 10 feedback.

All good advise so far, and my tuppence worth is.....

Have a clearout of low value items, such as CD's, DVD's etc.
Have a look at other items for sale, ones that you feel are listed well and mimic.
Think about the title, after all, thats what most folk search on.
Provide a clear, concise, warts and all description.
Avoid bovine excrement, stick to the facts and let buyers decide if it is "rare", "unique", etc.
    Provide good quality images.
    Have crisp, clear, basic T&C's.
List postge costs, and what this includes. (ie, First class post, jiffy bag, Cert of posting)

Feel free to let buyers know you are available to answer any questions, point out you are looking to build up feedback..... Get the listing right, and you'll have no problems at all... Good Luck. :D

Hi Serenity, even with a direct debit on file you still need at least +5 feedback to do a buy it now. As others have said, sell a couple of low value items and you'll be there in no time :)
