    Obviously I do not know how. The only option in thread tools I have is printable version, unsubscribe and add poll.

    The way I do it is to hit EDIT on the original message ie start as if to edit it - then a delete option appears - as I've done to my original

    thread tools doesn't come into it

    Thanks, I have just tried but I can not delete the OP. The option is available in my last post though.
