Please Help! Do I Owe Apex Credit Management Money?

i took out a loan with Natwest in 2004 of £7k it defaulted and got sold on to various debt collectors and ended up at apex. In 2009 I set up an arrangement to pay £15 a month to clear the (supposedly to date) £4k now outstanding. I have just completed an experian credit report which shows my credit score as good and there seems to be no outstanding loan out on this record. Can someone please help me do i still owe this money? I am very confused.

It's probably logged with one of the other credit reference agencies. Not all financial institutes use all three main credit reference agencies. You should get your credit file from the other main CRA Equifax.

If the loan defaulted before 2006, it won't show on your credit records. However, don't take the credit record as a definitive statement of whether or how much you owe,Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
