Options
Were going to London In August and was wondering if someone could tell us if someone has booked these Mystery hotels before and what kinda hotels these are.

you just book by star rating normally, so you take your chance, if you book on one of the main websites e.g. lastminute.com it may be possibly to identify the hotel from the description..

ok, I guess there are hundreds though....

Search the four stars, if there are several you definitely would not want to stay in then do not book it.

or google some of the description, or compare it with the named hotels.

THere is nothing intrinsically dodgy about it, although in August for London, I would be thinking it will be the less popular hotels who cannot shift their bedrooms.
