    Back in the good old days, you could chop the floorpan, change the engine, different front axle, new body, then just send off the v5 ammended in biro. The one I'm making now means a full IVA, and a donor car for an age related plate.

    it doesnt work like that.

    if someone with mods that werent declaired hit you you would still be able to claim from their insurers as per the norm.

    what will simply happen is the payout for their vehicle would be voided.
