Ebay security check

I paid for an item last night by paypal using the link from ebay but when I logged in I got a message from Paypal advising that my account had been selected for security checks. I then had to change my password and confirm my email address and card details.
Anyone else had this ? concerned me a bit as I have never had to do this before.

I did it from 'Pay Now' on my ebay summary page.0

I wouldn't take any chances. I'd go to paypal through the website and make sure everything is normal. I'd then change my password. I'd also be changing the card. Or give paypal a call and see if it's right
