iam-sold.co.uK , Is it a serious online acution for properties ?

An estate agents introduce me about

http://www.iam-sold.co.uk/

Does anyone have any experience of using it or have knowledge about it ?

What I am interested is to find out.

Whether it is a serious and trustable auction place, where the people could buy a real property through an online auction.

Looks like you need to search under a town name or postcode. I tried my county and didn't find any results either!

They are a unique auction management company who specialise in selling properties through the modern auction method

Have a look at their success at their auction results they sell over 80% every time!

At which point, I suggest interested parties search this forum for threads relating to this 'modern auction method', since you don't give any detail as to how it differs from traditional ways.....

Also, how do you suggest we research their results?

A web site with no address and no geographic telephone number, supported by a first time poster, all signs of something not worth getting involved with.

    Hi RAS,

I am friends with a couple who work there, also a family member of mine has sold a inherited property through them, she had nothing but praise for the sensitive way in which they dealt with her situation.

Funny, but I expect that few will believe you...
  • So you do have a personal vested interest? Spam then.

can you tell im a noob to this posting stuff

The modern auction method V's the traditional method...
1)Is the auction open to anyone? modern=yes, traditional=no.
    2)Can you buy with a mortgage? modern=yes, traditional=risky.
    3 etc etc

This is a summary of the pro's and cons of the auction methods...

Funny how you missed out the bit about non-refundable reservation fees, and selling fees far in excess of what a regular EA would charge.....

I'm no noob, so here's the threads where this method has already been discussed.
