Whoo! Go Daisi! I'm really pleased for you as I know u were worrying about that.
:T0 -
Thanks everyone!
I hate the fact that it is from a 'plus size' range but I absolutely fell in love with it. Besides, it's a UK 16 which isn't tooooo plus size...I need to just stop thinking about it!0 -
Wow, it is stunning. I love the shape of it and the back detail with the lace up and the long train is beautiful. Obviously we've not seen it on you, and you say the pic doesn't do it justice, but if you look half as good as it does in the pic you'll look fab!!
It really doesn't do it justice! In the pic it looks a bit boxy but in reality (or on me) the ruched bit at the waist just really pinches the waist in and makes it very hourglassy. Despite being too overweight I am blessed with a decent (but too big!) hourglass figure, my waist is pretty small compared to my boobs and hips and this dress just emphasises it and makes it look amazing (and I really am not one to ever say I look amazing so it must be good!)0 -
Thats a lovely dress, I bet your looking like this tonight
.
Dont worry about the size, its just a number and no one will have a clue on the day what size your dress is, they will just think it looks stunning.0 -

I am! I'm bouncing off the walls! Really frustrated as I'm all on my own, OH is away, and there is no one to jabber on to about it except this forum! So apologies for the endless posts! :j0 -
lovely dress Daisiegg! Sounds like it was a good dress shopping day all round!

Can relate to what you are saying about weight loss too. I was going to put off trying on dresses until I had lost some weight but after a bad experience first time round I wanted to see if I could find something I loved at my current weight, that way there is no pressure to slim down. If I do - great, it can be taken in, but if I don't then it doesn't matter.
My mind keeps going back to the 1st dress I tried on and how good and sexy (oooh la la) I felt in it. It was the wrong colour but I know the other shop has it in Ivory so will be interesting to see how that one compares :T

jtr how amazing is it to be posting about wedding dress shopping after spending so much time on the waiting thread!! (I know I wasn't there anywhere near as long as you but it certainly felt like long enough!)0

I know
, it's all starting to feel a bit real now! Did feel a bit odd doing all this shopping with no ring but will wait and see what happens with that! I think I could have happily ordered *the* dress but I want to try some others on, just to make 100% sure.
Rather selfishly I also want to do more fittings, I felt amazing in all these fab dresses
