I just need to correct you slightly Stephen. Although bailiffs are people who are certificated or licenced by the Court, a civil court does not enforce its own judgments.
The Claimant would have to do the legwork by applying for a warrant on the basis of the CCJ; for which the fee is (I believe) about £100; the bailiff is then given the warrant and sets out to enforce. Though County Court bailiffs are notoriously useless at enforcing warrants.
But unless the Claimant takes the matter forward nothing is done about the CCJ.
Not that Douglas is in the least danger of any of this, since there is more chance of Dracula becoming a sunbathing garlic-eater than of Parking Eye ever going near a Court again.0 -

I understand that its difficult to ignore those threats but please do try - because empty threats is all they are. The biggest concern you should have about these people is that all the letters might fill your wastepaper basket up early, causing you to have to make an extra trip out to wherever you hide your dustbin. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
Douglas,
Mrs theHibby has successfully ignored these scammers on 3 occasions. Each time for a free and empty car park.

All the better then - PE don't seem to know that Scotland even exists and couch their threatograms in English law.
Which makes them even more laughably unenforceable!

Is there a Scottish PPC called Parking Och Aye?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
