Independent Fund Advice

Hi there,
I'm looking for an independent product tester of financial products, ETFs in particular.
Something like that exists in Germany - it's published in a magazine that's commissioned and funded by the state, "Finanztest" - and gives easily digestable advice on range of ETFs that can be recommended based on their performance from the last 3-5 years.
I'm looking for a similar product in the UK. The obvious candidate is the FT - but given they're a daily, I reckon they do a lot of blathering... Can you help?
Thanks guys!
Leo
