Under cabinet lighting

I am after a kit that provides 5 30cm strip lights for under the kitchen cupboards, and four spot lights for the wall cabinets. I don't mind whether they are fluorescent or LEDs. I know LEDs are better energy wise but as strip LEDs are a fairly new product I don't want to have to replace it if it proves unreliable.

The wiring is already there and they all come on from a switch next to a power socket above the counter (well, they would if they worked ). The spot lights are halogens, would be happy for these to be LEDs (and they might not need a transformer, right?)

As you can tell I am not entirely clued up, so if anyone can advise or point me in the direction of a helpful shop or website, I would be thanks! We don't want to spend more than 125, ideally.

Do you mean T5 striplights, 6 to 8 watt are around 300mm.
