I'd also second the comments about looking online for reviews. Also I find Amazon to be a good indictaor review-wise, there are plenty of other sites though too.0 -

Thanks for suggesting Amazon. i tend not to think of them re. home appliances but I have often read their reviews of music, books etc.
I will try the free Which trial but have to then remember to cancel in time.0 -
My Miele f/f has been a total heap of junk from the day I bought it.
My 11 year old LG f/f £200 is far better quality and I'm glad I held on to it because the Miele is unusable after less than 3 years.0
