ok, I hadn't realised that VCS and Excel Parking Services were the same until I saw certain thread titles here. I suppose I should have given that Excel's name and address appear on the envelop as the return address
Anyway I checked the letters thread above and sure enough the 'Notice to Owner' letter I have is identical to the one posted for Excel Parking Services lol. The only difference is the logo.0 -
They are legally separate companies but operate from the same premises in Sheffield and are both owned by the well-known Simon Renshaw-Smith. Both companies have boasted of having a "legal manager", "legal services manager" or "litigation manager" and to our knowledge these posts/post have/has been filled by two individuals to whit Messrs Mirza and Akbar. Both Parvez Mirza and Naveed Akbar have had this job/s and strangely are both partners in a company called Legatec Solutions Ltd so it may well be that Excel/VCS sub the work out. Parvez has reasonably recently also begun appearing on the website of Astrea Legal Associates LLP a Maharashtra State based Indian Law firm. Perhaps he was so disappointed at his being trounced, while representing Excel in the Martin Cutts case at Stockport, that he has shifted his focus elsewhere? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
He shouldn't take it to heart. Excel could have hired Perry Mason, and they would still have lost. A lawyer has to be given a case that is capable of being argued.0
