Lloyds derisory offer!!!!!

They won't have anything going back that far. As you've already discovered, they only keep records for the last six years. It's only if you can find statements from your own archive that you have any chance of redress from the earlier period.Mustard101 wrote: »send off a request to lloyds for mortgage statements dating back to 1995, then highlight each payment made and submit counter argument to lloyds first...
You didn't explain, though, why the Bank haven't paid back all your payments from last year? Have they admitted it was their mistake or is there something you're not telling us?0 -
Nothing hidden, not missed out anything....or are you suggesting im a company?
Had a call today from lloyds telling me they have reviewed the snottogram e-mail i sent to CEO office and i had two policies
One was with stirling in which i paid £10
And a second called mortgagesure which apparently she could see on her screen that goes back to 1995, in short a second offer relating to the mortgagesure policy is going to be sorted!!!
Ill keep you all posted:eek:0 -
am i right in thinking you had the mortgage 1995 to about 2006? as they are only going back 6 yearsMustard101 wrote: »Nothing hidden, not missed out anything....or are you suggesting im a company?

ok ta, the OP still hasnt explained properly why the offer is £17.65, there is something missing that they are not telling us, I can only think they've had successful claims being deducted. They have paid over £100 this year alone and theyWILL have record of those!0 -
Trying to keep up....all explained in previous posts, and forgot to add, the lady from lloyds says the 6 year rule DOES NOT apply, we are entitled to ALL of our premiums plus the 8% taxable interest......
I shall post when the money arrives:beer:0 -

This is the assumption that prompted the response on this thread. Have you thought that maybe it was also just about in the realm of possibility that Lloyds made a mistake?
How hard is it to look at a computer screen and tell someone they have two policies and not one?0 -
it sounds like a clerical error. but they provide breakdowns on the letter, so how have they come to that figure?
I said that in post 2 !!!!This is the assumption that prompted the response on this thread. Have you thought that maybe it was also just about in the realm of possibility that Lloyds made a mistake?

Well some great news........
Lloyds have confirmed in writing that:-
I had two policies (one which explains the £17.65) and the main one which with Interest means i will receive just short of £8400....
I also suggest that those having difficulty understanding the Staff in "Manilla" as i did, complain via the e-mail link i shall post shortly which goes to the CEO`s team....
The wife has already started planning a new kitchen and a log fire...but for once i`m just interested in saving it..
Keep you posted0 -

(Thanks also for what became a very entertaining thread!)
As someone who had just cause to contact the Chief Executive of his Bank (HSBC), I wholeheartedly endorse this sentiment!:TMustard101 wrote: »I also suggest that those having difficulty understanding the Staff in "Manilla" as i did, complain via the e-mail link i shall post shortly which goes to the CEO`s team....0
