Have to agree that I wouldn't trust these numbers too highly. But also remember that percentages can be very confusing. The same percentage can mean very different things in different circumstances. 70% to you could be crippling costs, 70% to someone else may leave a big chunk of cash. Creating some average across all demographics is essentially meaningless imo.
I'm not against stats, far from it, but they need to be contextualised and thought through.0
