Full year holiday/traveling insurance

My son has just finished uni and is going to travel around asis for up to a year.
I am now looking for insurance for him, for while he is away.
He lives in UK and will be starting his journey in Vietnam.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am assuming he will be backpacking - so you'll want a backpacker insurer - here's some of the main backpacker travel insurers including the full yearly (12 months) cost for you;

I believe only Down Under and World Nomads offer insurance 'on the go' from my above list. You didn't make it sound like your son had already left so apologies if that is the case.
