Hiya,
I'm going away for the weekend to London 2-4 June with my youngest son (12), my sister and her son (10).we are going to watch the england match on the Saturday and then heading into London on the Sunday to have a mooch round.
I'd like to get them all a little package to open on the train,
The boys I have a silly England hat and silly sunglasses from , a London tshirt each and a flag each from the £1 shop. My sister I have bought a Union jack special edition shambala bracelet and some silly headband with England flags on and will do a little ottle of wine, some sweets etc but what else can I put in for both her and the kids..I seem to be having a total mental block lol
Any help greatly appreciated
Thanks x

They have jubilee cotton shopping bags in poundland, and drawstring pe bag type things for the boys. They also have baseball caps for men and women that might be ok. Oh and aluminium sports bottles with a Union Jack on.
I don't have any inside knowledge of poundland but got sent an email the other day with this link http://www.poundland.co.uk/top-tips/diamond-jubilee/0 -
Thank you I shall look there,
Any other ideas please? X0 -
When I was in Aldi on Friday the staff were laughing their heads off as they unpacked bags of M&Ms - as they bore the union jack flag. I think they would be perfect for your bag of treats. Aparently marmite have a similar special edition out too!
Also, look in the poundshops for red, white and blue packs of face crayons, adorning each other with the Union Jack might be a fun way to spend a few minutes on the journey. (Noticed a lot of this in Dublin on St Patricks Day a couple of years ago).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
