prestigecarservicing.com? Anyone used them

Hi, I just wanted to know if you have used them and what you thought of them?0

Good but we had to take ours to another garage for part of the check, which isnt what they seem to claim, which was a faff.It may also not be beneficial to the value of the car to have it serviced by anyone other than a main dealer (worth factoring that in). I would check that they can complete all the diagnostics on your type of car themselves before you commit.0

They claim that you do not lose warranty if the car is new because they do service according to manufacturer’s schema. I would say it is be not true.
On the invoice I got there was only “Service Details: Carry out a service” and no information what work was done.
When I reported it was not enough because my car’s warranty book was very strict about what should be done listed everything in details, I got list of carried out work and what I suspected appeared to be true. Handbrake travel was not marked as adjusted on the list I got from “prestigecarservicing”. The manufacturer of my car requires it adjusted exactly after first 9000 miles. I suspected that because car returned from prestige service with handbrake handle working exactly the same. It went high during 1st year. I called dealer and they confirmed that is normal in this car and that is why manufacturer requires it to be adjusted during the 9000 miles service. Prestige did not do it. I tried to complain. There is no complaint information on their web site. I sent a letter to the address on the invoice and did not get answer. I gave up and paid £40 in dealer’s garage for adjusting handbrake travel. I was told that if I do not do it I could not claim any brakes warranty in the future. So, please be careful.0 -
There was a lot of discussion in http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=46966
