Rolled oats - spleeeurgh!

    I think rolled oats are much better in flapjacks - somehow when they're made with porridge oats they're more powdery.

    But you can throw the rolled oats ina food processer and whizz them up and hey presto you have porridge oats :)

    So you can use them one way or another

    I love rolled oats for porridge (and flapjacks etc). Irecently bought oatmeal to try as I thought it was a similar product. Not at all :eek:
    It tastes SO different (in fact I can't stand it!). It tastes like oatmeal biscuits (e.g. Nairn) and I can't stand them!
    I now have to find a way to use it up without the taste coming through...
    Save the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate! :)
