HSBC Acceptance Question

Hi All,

Quick question. I've finally received my second final response from HSBC (long story). I note in their letter they say I need to complete a form at my bank to comply with the Payment Services Directive .

Is this something that has to be done?

Reason I ask is that the company I work for when we send out a settlement form all we require is a signature and bank details if the customer wishes for their refund to be processed via BACS.

Never heard of this, usually it is done the way you said, hopefully someone can help you more who have had dealings with HSBC regarding payment.

I went into HSBC yesterday, as advised in my letter, and after waiting for the best part of 30 minutes for them to find this form that I had to fill out in branch I was told that there is no form I need to fill out in branch.

Waste of time going in.
