which one peeps.

acer has i3 2gb ram.
2.53 ghz
250gb hdd
ultrathin
hdmi out port

toshiba has pentium dual core b940
4gb ram
640gb hdd
mmc slot


which one. i like both and i know i3 processor is better, but tosh has bigger ram and hdd.


both running windows 7

    The Acer does have a I3 processor, but 1st gen so with the low hdd doesn't set my heart beating. Are you looking at refurb's? as I don't think the Acer is a current model; is it around £340?

    If so I would take a look at this from ebuyer which has a 2nd gen I3, 6gb RAm & 640gb hdd - http://www.ebuyer.com/342418-toshiba-satellite-pro-c660-2jr-laptop-psc1me-01n00ken

    Maybe off beam, but you haven't given enough info to give you a definitive answer.

    the acer is a week old return, still has stickers and screen protector on, and is £260

    tosh ive seen same as you linked for 230

    Really. a week? I would think if it was a week they would be more available new. Gut tells me that a week may be an exaggeration? Old stock more like....

    Where? why not provide the link? And anyway why are you asking about a 1st gen @ £260 vs a 2nd Gen @ £230? Doesn't make sense (unless a typo and you meant £330?............
