Any Aviva Employees (or other Insurance Employees)

Hi there, I would like to know if there are insurance company employees, in particular Aviva, where all staff are trained to 'SAY NO'.

Now my definition of 'SAY NO' is specifically directed at staff trained not to pay out - whether that be Personal Injury or Car Repairs.

I was hit in the rear by a person insured by Aviva at 11.15am and at 1430am Aviva called me to assist as there policy holder accepted full responsibilty

I made a thread yesterday explaining how my suffering from some hellish muscle spasms, more commonly known as whiplash was regarded as a fraudulent claim by Aviva Fraud Department. My physio was cancelled and was told to seek my own legal advice.

However after half a day of calls to Aviva they read the report from HCML (part owned by Aviva) and did a U turn and offered a settlement a figure.

Yesterday at midday I was deemed a criminal and by teatime I was offered cash!!

So there are 2 parts, my injury and then my vehicle damage.

Today a manager calls me he is sorry etc, saying he will now deal direct with me and no need to go round the houses. At 1650 he tells me that some of my damage is not related to the incident (lights on dash relating to abs sensor).

So 3 weeks later I have been accused of being a criminal on the injury aspect and then told that a fault that was not there before is not deemed to be caused by the rear impact.

My dash was had no lights on prior to the incident, is it a coincidence?

Is it standard for all staff to be trained to retain money and not pay it out?

Or should I assume if you had a business with staff agreeing to pay out, your profits are damaged which affects the share price which in turn upsets shareholders . . .

OR AM JUST GETTING CARRIED AWAY WITH MY IMAGINATION!

Any comments from any current or ex employees would be appreciated.

Anyway my thread from yesterday is below:

If Aviva continue to insist that the lights on the dash are not related, ask them to instruct an Independent engineer to inspect the vehicle. This will give a non biased view of the situation.

With the Injury sometimes call centre staff can get a bit carried away, as can 'fraud' departments. If your not happy with how they are dealing with the claim then as they have suggested seek your own legal advice on the matter.
