WHY NOT????? You should have had some of the lo's if you provided it all
I know MrsCD, to be honest I probably could have taken the leftovers. I had tidied them up into tupperware dishes and put them in the fridge so could have easily taken them when I left but I was gratefull for them letting us have the BBQ at theirs. Were in a second floor flat and it is torture!
Had our Arparagus, tomato and cous cous last night with tuna instead of salmon as we had that in already:A. Made celeriac (24p) soup too with some leeks, onions ect. Just had it for lunch and it was yummy
Its cloudy here today, hoping sun will be back for the weekend!!!
Visiting OH's grandparets tonight. We were going to take a fish supper in with us for dinner for them but will just wait till we get home for dinner and save the pennies. Tonight OH will have the last of the HM minestrone soup from last week and I will have a packet of macaroni cheese that has been in the cupboard for AGES. Can anyone spot the secret ingredient in this soup.....?
I have removed the centre vein from the leaves though in case they were fibrous.
It was delicious. I had it with my herby flowers cheese bread!!
Edit:
As a clue, if I hadnt have weeded so well over the last couple of days, there would be a lot more of this kinda thing on the menu. It truly was delicious. The kids ate it all first. I asked them if they liked it (which they did). Then I told them the secret ingredient:rotfl:

Going for £500 this month after recent disasters! Will still be a challenge as this is a third off our normal spend but I have no stores left after May:(

Good little book called Cooking Weeds by Vivien Weise if you can get hold of a copy cheaply, got loads of veggie recipes in using free food like Daisy, Dandelion, Nettle etc. I love making stuff with free food although I haven't been doing so much of it lately. Sipping lemon balm tea from the garden at the minute which grows like a weed in my garden.
Ohh with this post I got my first star lol! What does that mean?
