    You go into your modem router setup page, enter openDNS's numbers, save and reboot modem.

    Can't do that on a BT Home Hub 2A. :o

    Thats correct but whilst its a simple google search to find a way around opendns by going into the TCP/IP properties its fairly complicated to set up the router to either block all traffic to port 53 or to redirect all traffic to port 53 to OpenDNS. Plus as you say custom firmware is going to be needed in most cases like openwrt or DD-WRT which in itself can be risky (void certain warranties) to set up and use.

    I was simply pointing out that just because you've set the router to opendns that it isn't the end of the story for a determined teen hell bent on pron!
