Fly out of Geneva and into London or Manchester for around £250. You just need to add a one way flight to Geneva, with the likes of EasyJet.
Seek out the flights via ebookers, but then book the flight dates via the airline website for a better price. £240(CHF 358.85) returning to London.
Of course you'll need the right kind of plastic in order to get the best out of the exchange rate.

You can get a connecting flight with Easyjet to Geneva with 20kgs of luggage for less than £50.

Book by the 12th of May.

And the caveat about allowing for cancellations/ delays on the outbound flight?
I am tempted to go to CPT, but it is a long time since I have travelled in economy, not sure I could stand it ...0 -

Do you think that you have to tell people that the EasyJet flight could be cancelled or delayed?
I think only an idiot would book without keeping that in mind. What do you want for £300 return?
Though, as you suggest.... please be aware that EasyJet are not responsible if you miss your connection.
Though do let them know ASAP if you have a problem if your flight is delayed. Also, check in for your Etihad flight in advance. That way you only need to do a bag drop one hour before departure in Geneva(if you have hold luggage).
I would look at the EasyJet record on that routing and time and decide on which time of day I would fly.
As I'm not of a nervous disposition, I would take the combination illustrated.
I also have family in Geneva, so I would have the option of flying there the day before and then taking the 11.15am from GVA.
But I prefer night flights, so the combination above would do for me...booking directly with both airlines of course.0 -
