10 nights Thailand 4* £534 + cost of o/w easyjet flight

Hello everyone, been a while.

Thought i'd post a little offer, but if you get your creative juices flowing you can take this and run (to other hotels, destinations etc). I'm not going to spoon feed this to anyone (or explain why it workds), but this is valid for booking up to 12 May, and you must be back by 14 June, so suits someone looking for a deal.

I'd just spotted the Groupon Khao Lak deal, so am using it for an example, i'm not recommending the hotel - but I do like Khao Lak (it's low season now, but i'd go in a drop).

I've picked this date at random (within the dates), used Expedia to check the air fare, other online booking engines are available. Manchester / Dublin may be a little higher.

18 May - Geneva - Phuket
29 May - Phuket - London Heathrow / Manchester / Dublin

Fare: £352.40 per person.
Note - Abu Dhabi to Phuket is on Air Berlin, so I believe for that leg you get food / soft drinks - and big screens only. UK - Abu Dhabi us full service PTV's, with booze included.

This Groupon: http://getaways.groupon.co.uk/d-5535401-Khao-Lak

has 10 nights for £365 including breakfast and transfers (transfers included for 10 & 14 night option). Please do not go for the full board option (my personal message, not because the food is rubbish - but in Thailand you miss out).

That's £534.50 each (based on 2).

Now, you have to add the cost of a one way flight to Geneva (Zurich may be an option) - which Easyjet fly (as do BA & Swiss - havn't checked Ryanair as won't fly them) - which is around £50 one way on Easyjet. Play around with dates to get cheaper fares?

Note - this UK - Switzerland flight is a seperate ticket, so make sure you leave PLENTY of connection times - as Etihad are not responsible if you miss their connection.

2nd Note - really, i'm only using this to show you what's possible. If you have the desire, play around with dates, destinations, hotel options, you PROBABLY WILL FIND SOMETHING BETTER - but let us know if you book anything. 10 nights including flights, taxes, 4 star hotel, breakfast and 90 minute return transfer will not get beaten in current climate (if it can prove it :p).
