    I'm after the xbox 360 S 2011 ATM. I can only find the best deals on Amazon. Everyone else is too expensive. Eg.

    Space=/Amazon Price/PC World Price
    4gb = 125/150
    250gb = 150/189

    4gb w. Kinect = 210/250(with K Adventures)
    250gb w. Kinect = 250/279(with K Adventures & Sports)

    you can buy those Adventures & Sports games for less than £5 online each. Or if you're lucky...

    Note: A 250GB HDD costs about £39 so you may as well buy the one with the HDD unless you have one from an old laptop that you can use. Or you can buy a 2nd hand one online for cheaper.

    I got mine from Morrisons a couple of months ago. I bought the items seperately rather than as part of a bundle as this worked out cheaper. Argos often do x box deals too so keep a look out there.

    OK. Its been settled. This is what I've found after hours of searching. This is, by far, the BEST VFM package I can find.

    Go to the argos site. You get the

    1. Xbox 360 4GB Console
    2. Kinect Sensor
    3. Kinect Adventures. (928/7226)
    4. Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller
    5. Halo 3
    6. Gears of War 2

    All for just £234! That's GOOD! :D

    I don't know much about them but when I was reading up before purchasing the consensus was that the 4gb isn't much use. It apparently doesn't allow for online playing and some games can't be played on it because of the size of the hard drive. If you have a search online about the benefits of one sized drive over the other, it may help you decide.

    We bought our girl the 4gb 360 slim and she plays Black Ops online no problem.
    The Kinect will usually add another £100 on top!

    I would buy a 360 from new, a 2nd hand one could be banned from xbox live, have been chipped, have had the red light problem and been wrongly "fixed" (that term used very loosely) so you may be getting a lemon.

    Also, another trick. If you are hell bent on PC world, you can use their price match guarantee against them. I'm going to ask if they can do it for me tomorrow.
    There is just one little niggle in their T&Cs though. Perhaps someone can clarify this for me.

    *"The product offered by the competitor's website is exactly the same as the one we sell, and is offered on the same terms" &
    "Single unit purchases only"*

    Does this mean that bundles like the Console and Kinect are a no-go for the price match?

    Because if they are ok, the argos price is £249.88

    The PCW price is £299. Its CRAZY.

    You could get them to price match it and give you 10% off Argos price.
    Let me know what you think. It will save you a few quid.

    So that would mean you get the whole thing for £225!
    i.e., the 250gb console(£150), the sensor (£90) & game (£10) for just £225 instead of £250. How's that for smart?
    10% off £250 is a cool £25. So that's reasonable. I would say plump another £40 and get the hard drive. You WILL eventually need it and given the lack of technical expertise (assumption), you will buy an over priced XBOX Hard drive. Waste of money.

    I think this is one good option.

    So the way I see it now, two options:

    1. PCW Price match against Argos. For £225 you get
    Xbox 360 250GB Console (£150), Kinect Sensor and Kinect Adventures (£110)

    2. Argos price you get for £275
    Xbox 360 250GB Console (£150), Kinect Sensor and Kinect Adventures (110)
    +
    Xbox 360 Controller (£25), Halo 3(£10) and Gears of War 2(£10).
